Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns
    1 stick or 1/2 c. butter
    1 pt. sour cream
    8 oz. or more grated Cheddar cheese
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. cream of chicken soup
    salt and pepper
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Toss together lightly the corn flakes and 1/2 cup melted butter. Do not thaw potatoes. Saute onion in butter.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with crushed corn flakes and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 15 as side dish, less if meal.
