Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. oleo
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs, separated
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. coconut
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream together oleo and Crisco.
    Add sugar.
    Then add egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each egg.
    Mix buttermilk and soda.
    Alternate with flour.
    Add coconut and nuts.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    (This makes 3 cake pans.)
