Basic Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. broth, tomato juice or water
    1/2 c. rolled oats
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. dehydrated green pepper flakes
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix broth, oats, green pepper flakes, onion, salt (optional), pepper and eggs.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Add ground beef and mix well.
    Divide mixture into two equal parts.
    Place into two greased 7 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2-inch loaf pans.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan.
    Bake 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Let stand for 10 minutes. Makes 3 servings each.
    (Wrap one pan of meat loaf in aluminum foil and freeze to serve at a later meal.
    This may be frozen in the uncooked stage.)
