Creamed Onions With Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (1 lb.) cans small onions, drained
    1/2 c. cream of mushroom soup
    4 oz. grated Swiss cheese
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1/3 c. sliced almonds, lightly toasted
Preparation
    Place onions in buttered casserole dish.
    Combine soup with cheese and sherry.
    Pour over onions; toss lightly.
    (Can refrigerate at this point.)
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle almonds on top.
    Bake for 30 minutes, uncovered.
    Serves 6.
