Charcoaled Corned Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 \"flat\" beef brisket
    garlic wine vinegar
    garlic powder
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Spoon vinegar over brisket.
    Place in a shallow pan.
    Sprinkle brisket with garlic powder, salt and pepper on all sides. Marinate at room temperature for several hours, turning occasionally (example:
    10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
    Cook on charcoal grill with top closed for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or use thermometer to register rare.
    Do not overcook!
    Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate.
    Return to butcher to have thinly sliced.
    Serve with party rye and hot mustard.
