Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. nuts or coconut
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. fruit cocktail (not drained)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla in bowl.
    Sift flour, soda and salt and add to egg mixture along with nuts and fruit cocktail. Beat well.
    Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    While still warm, add topping.
