Gourmet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook potatoes.
    Peel and shred coarsely.
    Heat butter in a saucepan.
    Remove from heat.
    Add the cheese to the butter.
    Stir until partially melted.
    Blend in sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.
    Fold this mixture into potatoes.
    Place in a greased 2-quart casserole dish; dot with butter.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
