Sausage And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. diced onion
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. dry white wine
    2 (13 oz.) cans low salt chicken broth
    4 to 5 c. peeled diced potatoes
    3 c. half and half (use whole milk, if desired)
    4 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    few grinds black pepper
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    6 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Pan roast sausage until thoroughly cooked.
    When cool, cut sausage into medium dice.
    Melt butter in large pot; cook onion and garlic over medium-low heat until the onions are soft.
    Stir in flour; cook 1 to 2 minutes over low heat.
    Add wine, stirring constantly.
    Immediately add the broth, stirring constantly, until soup comes back to the boil.
    Add sausage and potatoes; cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
    Add half and half, parsley, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
    Correct seasoning.
    Remove from heat; stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts.
