Corned Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (12 oz.) cans corned beef, cubed
    4 c. diced potatoes
    1/4 c. ketchup
    water to cover
    1 c. frozen peas
    1 c. sliced onions
    3 c. Masar Dal (see recipe)
    1 1/4 lb. small cauliflower
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 Tbsp. ground coriander
    1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1/3 tsp. turmeric
    1 c. water
    salt to taste
    1 (14 oz.) can tomato wedges
    2 Tbsp. Usli Ghee or vegetable oil or butter
    1 Tbsp. black mustard seed
    1 tsp. garlic, minced
Preparation
    In a 5-quart microwave-safe casserole, cook onions in small amount of water, 8 minutes or until tender, stirring after 4 minutes.
