Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats, pour water over oats, let stand 20 minutes
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition.
    Add oats, then dry ingredients. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
