Brownie Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate, broken into pieces
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Combine sugar, salt and corn syrup in a small saucepan.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved; boil 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add chocolate and butter.
    Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
    Cool.
