Chunky Applesauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 lb. green apples, peeled, quartered and chopped into chunks
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. dried currants
1/2 c. apple juice
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in heavy saucepan.
Cover and cook over medium-low heat until apples are tender, stirring occasionally, about 45 minutes.
