Rolled Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
    1/3 c. water or milk
Preparation
    Cut
    shortening
    into dry ingredients.\tStir in lightly the beaten egg\tand milk.
    Pat into a ball.
    On floured board, roll out
    to 1/4 to
    1/8-inch
    thick.
    Cut
    into
    1
    1/2-inch squares. Drop into boiling
    broth.
    Cover and cook slowly for 15 to 20 minutes.
