Jungle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dry split green peas
    3 pt. water
    1 can beef bouillon
    1 can tomato soup
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place peas in a large saucepan without a lid and add the cold water.
    Bring to boiling point.
    Allow to simmer until the water cooks down and the peas are cooked to a soft, wet paste.
    (Be careful not to let them burn.)
    Add the 2 cans of soup; stir and allow to simmer for a few minutes.
    Season to taste, if necessary, after all ingredients are added.
    If the soup is thicker than you prefer, add a little water.
