Cherry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
2 cans (16 oz.) pitted red tart cherries, drained
1/4 tsp. almond extract
2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Prepare pastry.
Mix the sugar and flour.
Stir in cherries.
Pour in crust.
Sprinkle with almond extract and dot with margarine.
Cover with top crust and cut slits.
Seal and flute.
Cover edge with 2 to 3-inch strips of aluminum.
Remove foil last 15 minutes of baking.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
