Quick Smothered Hamburger Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    hamburger patties
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 can Campbell's cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 can water
Preparation
    Fry the patties in skillet with 2 tablespoons oil.
    When done, remove from pan and saute the onions in remaining oil.
    When onions are no longer crunchy, return cooked patties to pan.
    Add the soup.
    Add about 1/2 can of water.
    Cover and simmer until soup is thick and bubbly.
    Season as desired.
    Excellent served over cooked egg noodles!
