Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions (Vidalia if available), sliced
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 lb bay Swiss cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    French bread
Preparation
    Stir and saute onions in 1/2 cup butter.
    Place in greased 9 x 13 baking dish.
    Place over onions:
    1/2 lb baby Swiss cheese, sliced or grated, 1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup.
    Butter slices of French bread and place on top.
    Bake until bread browns and casserole bubbles.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25-30 minutes.
