Pecan Pie Dessert Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix (reserve 2/3 c.)
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
1 egg
2/3 c. yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients.
Press in greased pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
