Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
    4 Tbsp. cold shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add cheese.
    Cut in shortening and milk to make a soft dough.
    Place on a floured board and roll 1/2 inch thick.
    Cut out biscuits.
    Place on cookie sheet and bake 12 minutes at 450\u00b0.
    Makes 14 biscuits.
    Be sure and serve a little side dish with 1/4 cup melted hot garlic butter.
    Just put them on the dish and smother them with butter and have plenty of napkins handy.
