Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1/2 c. oats
    2 Tbsp. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. dried onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 can mushroom soup or tomato or cream of celery
    1 can water
Preparation
    Combine meat, egg, oats, ketchup, 2 tablespoons water, Worcestershire, onion, salt and pepper.
    Form into 6 large patties.
    Pat lightly in flour.
    Brown in butter; pour off grease. Combine soup and 1 can water; pour over patties.
    Simmer, covered, 45 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
