Chocolate Crinkles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 2/3 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 sq. chocolate, melted
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
sifted confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream shortening, granulated sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Beat in eggs, then chocolate.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add to the creamed mixture alternately with milk, blending well after each addition.
Stir in nuts.
Chill 2 to 3 hours.
Form in 1-inch balls.
Roll in confectioners sugar.
Place on a greased cookie sheet 2 to 3 inches apart.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 15 minutes. Yield:
4 dozen.
