Grits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. grits (not instant)
    4 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 stick butter
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    10-12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Pour the grits into boiling water to which salt has been added.
    Mix well cook until thickened. Add the butter, cheese, beaten eggs and milk.
    Stir thoroughly and place in buttered casserole.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
