Irene'S Turkey Curry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 minced onion
1 chopped apple
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1 Tbsp. curry powder
juice of 1/2 lemon
3 c. cooked turkey, diced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 c. turkey broth (chicken is okay)
1 c. milk
1/2 c. cream
hot, cooked rice
Preparation

Cook onion and apple in butter in double boiler until onion is golden.
Blend in flour and seasonings.
Add broth, milk and cream.
Cook over boiling water, stirring until thickened.
Cook additional 10 minutes, covered.
Add lemon juice and turkey.
Heat through.
Serve over hot rice.
