Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3 c. water
2/3 c. cornstarch
6 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 c. lemon juice
6 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Combine sugar, water and cornstarch and cook over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Stir 1/2 of mixture into 6 beaten egg yolks. Blend all together and cook 1 minute more. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue.
