Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 stick margarine
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 cans French-style green beans, drained
    1 can bean sprouts, drained
    1 can sliced chestnuts, drained
    1 can French fried onion rings
    grated sharp cheese to go on top
    1 tsp. sugar
    dash of Tabasco
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine or butter.
    Add soup.
    Stir and add pepper, sugar and Tabasco.
    In casserole, put 1 can of drained beans and 1/2 can bean sprouts.
    Sprinkle 1/2 water chestnuts and 1/2 of the fried onion rings on this.
    Cover with 1/2 of soup mixture.
    Repeat this for 2 layers.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until bubbly.
