All American Burger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic, minced or 2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
    2 Tbsp. catsup
    1 Tbsp. steak sauce
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vinegar
    few dashes hot pepper sauce
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/8 to 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
    American cheese slices (optional)
Preparation
    Combine first eight ingredients (garlic, catsup, steak sauce, oil, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, vinegar and hot sauce) in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Combine beef, salt and pepper; form into 4 (3/4-inch thick) patties.
    Grill over medium-hot coals for 15 to 18 minutes (until done, turning once and brushing often with sauce).
    Serve on buns with desired toppings.
