Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook ingredients in double boiler until thick.
    Pour into baked pie shell (9-inch).
