Frozen Curry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. curry powder
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/3 c. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
    3 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, cook the onion, celery, garlic and curry powder in margarine about 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in cornstarch and bouillon granules. Blend in tomato paste. Stir in water and applesauce. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Cool saucepan quickly in ice water, stirring occasionally.
    Pour into 1 1/2 cup containers and freeze.
