Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 or 3 Tbsp. warm water
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    3 to 5 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
    melted butter for top of biscuits
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Sift together flour, sugar, soda, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in shortening.
    Stir in yeast and buttermilk.
    Roll out on floured surface; cut and brush tops with melted butter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 20 minutes according to size.
    Yields about 4 dozen.
