Mother'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
2 1/2 to 3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Cream brown sugar and butter.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix well after each addition. Add flour which has been sifted with baking soda.
Add vanilla flavoring.
