Cream Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 c. water
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and gradually add sugar, creaming well while adding.
    Then add salt and water alternately with cake flour in which has been sifted baking powder.
    Last, fold in the beaten whites of the eggs.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in layers.
