Pumpkin Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

8 to 10 slices cinnamon-raisin bread (no crusts)
3 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can solid pack pumpkin
2 c. milk
1 1/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Place bread on a cookie sheet.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 5 minutes.
Turn; bake an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until dry. Cut into cubes (should have about 4 cups).
In a large bowl, beat eggs; add pumpkin, milk, sugar and spices.
Mix well; then add bread cubes.
Let sit for 5 minutes; then add raisins.
Pour into a buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream.
