Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    5 c. milk
    4 c. heavy cream or 2 containers half and half
    4 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly all ingredients.
    Pour into ice cream maker. With 2 bags of ice and 1 box of rock salt and a towel to cover ice cream maker, mix thoroughly.
    Let sit for 30 minutes before serving.
