Fabulous Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 c. marshmallow cream or 16 marshmallows
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
6 oz. pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cut up nuts

Preparation

Mix first five ingredients in a heavy 2-quart saucepan.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil.
Boil and stir five minutes more.
Stir in chocolate pieces until melted.
Stir in vanilla and cut-up nuts.
