Inexpensive Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large pkg. Kool-Aid (cherry or strawberry)
    2 c. sugar
    1 large can pineapple juice
    4 qt. water
    1 large bottle ginger ale
Preparation
    Do not use sugar if you use presweetened Kool-Aid.
    Combine all ingredients, except ginger ale, and place in freezer.
    Stir often.
    Do not freeze solid; let make slush.
    Add the ginger ale just before serving.
