Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium sweet potatoes
    1/2 stick butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    milk (enough to make moist and smooth)
    pinch of baking powder
    1 pie shell
Preparation
    Boil sweet potatoes until very tender.
    Remove skins.
    Mix with other ingredients.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and continue cooking for about 30 minutes or until silver knife comes out clean.
