Buns(Boller) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cardamom
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. sugar
    2/3 c. water, lukewarm
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. milk, lukewarm
    3 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients as for pie crust.
    Add sugar to water and sprinkle yeast on top.
    Heat milk to lukewarm.
    Add well beaten eggs and yeast mixture to milk.
    Mix it all together with flour mixture.
    Knead until smooth and elastic, 7 to 9 minutes. Let rise in covered bowl for 1 hour.
    Punch down and form into 40 balls.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for about 10 minutes.
