Cherry Angel Food Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. angel food cake cubes
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1/2 c. toasted pecans
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Combine powdered sugar and cream cheese until blended.
    Stir Cool Whip into cheese mixture.
    Stir this topping into the cake cubes.
    Mix well.
    Into bowl or 9 x 13-inch container, layer 1/2 cake mixture and 1/2 of cherry pie filling.
    Repeat layers.
    Cover and refrigerate.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
