Cabbage Bean Soup(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. diced onion
    2 c. water
    6 oz. diced 97% fat free ham (Healthy Choice, Dubuque, etc. 1 full c.)
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    1 tsp. chili seasoning mix
    2 c. canned tomatoes, coarsely chopped with juice
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray (or Pam), saute onion until tender.
    Add water, ham, cabbage, tomatoes, chili seasoning mix and pepper.
    Bring to a boil; lower heat.
    Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Add beans; simmer 20 more minutes.
    Servings:
    4 (1 1/2 cup) servings.
    Calories: 169; 2 gm fat.
