Hot Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. bacon or 5 to 6 strips
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 head shredded cabbage
Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp.
Save the bacon grease.
To the 1/4 cup of grease in the skillet, add sugar, water and vinegar.
Heat to boiling.
Pour over shredded cabbage.
Add crumbled bacon.
Serve hot!
