Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) pie shell
4 c. strawberries
1 c. sugar or 12 packets Sweet 'N Low
3 or 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 or 3 drops red food coloring (optional)
juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)
Preparation

Bake pie shell.
Prepare strawberries; set aside.
Combine in saucepan the sugar or Sweet 'N Low and cornstarch; mix together. Add water.
Cook over low heat until thickened (may add red food coloring and, also, juice of lemon).
When thickened, add the strawberries and pour in baked pie shell.
Let set overnight in refrigerator.
