Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. uncooked wild rice
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
    1 medium onion, sliced
    3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In 2-quart casserole dish, combine all ingredients.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until the rice is tender.
    Stir occasionally during the last half hour of baking.
    Yields 5 to 6 servings.
