Cobbler A La Peach - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. melted Crisco
    1/2 c. milk
    1 large can peaches or cherries
    2/3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix together the first 4 ingredients.
    Add melted Crisco and milk.
    Mix until well blended.
    In a saucepan, place the fruit with juice and the sugar. Bring to a boil.
    Put the first mixture in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Pour fruit mixture on top. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    (Batter will rise and make crust.)
