Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. thin sliced cucumbers
    1/3 c. salt
    8 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cover cucumber slices with water; add salt and let stand overnight.
    Boil sugar and vinegar until it becomes thick.
    Let stand overnight.
    Next morning drain slices; wash and drain slices.
    Pour sugar and vinegar mixture over slices.
    Put in freezer boxes and freeze.
