Sausage-Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. elbow macaroni
1/2 lb. fresh sausage (loose)
1 onion, diced
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. cheese
Preparation

Cook macaroni; drain.
Fry sausage and onion until lightly brown.
Stir in flour and salt.
Add milk and cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
Place alternate layers of macaroni and sausage in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Pour balance of sauce over all.
Top with cheese.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
