Frikadeller (Danish Meat Balls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 grated onion
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
    3 to 4 slices bread
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    2 eggs
    milk or cream
Preparation
    Soak bread in milk until softened.
    Beat eggs.
    Add ground meat, salt, pepper, bread, flour and cloves.
    Mix well.
    Shape into patties against side of bowl with aid of a large spoon; fry slowly, turning to brown evenly.
    Remove from pan and make gravy using drippings in pan.
    Pour over frikadeller and serve.
