Bacon-Cheeseburger Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. very lean ground beef
    1 small chopped onion
    4 slices crisply cooked bacon, chopped into bits
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. half-n-half
    8 oz. shredded cheddar or swiss cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onion.
    Remove and mix together with bacon pieces, breaking up any larger clumps with fork (or pastry mixer) until you have a fine mix.
    Drain any excess grease and press into bottom of a deep-dish pie pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Combine remaining ingredients in bowl and whip well. Pour mixture over beef crust and bake 40 to 45 minutes until top is browned and set.
    Cool 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.
