Chicken Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chicken breasts
    1 qt. water or 6 c.
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
    6 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 (15 oz.) can Le Sueur English peas
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 stalk celery
Preparation
    Cook chicken in saucepan with water, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper until tender.
    Remove chicken and skim excess fat from broth.
    To broth, add potatoes, carrots, onions, 1 tablespoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
    Cover; bring to a boil.
    Lower heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.
