Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. dry beans
    7 c. water
    1 medium-sized onion
    1 tsp. salt
    ham bone
Preparation
    Wash and drain beans.
    Put beans and water in pan and bring to boiling.
    Boil 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Cover and let stand 1 hour.
