Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) pastry shell
2 or 3 bananas
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour, salt and gradually stir in milk.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens.
Cook 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat.
Stir small amount hot mix into yolks, return to hot mixture.
Cook 2 minutes and stir constantly. Remove from heat.
Add butter and vanilla.
Cool to room temperature.
Cover with wax paper.
Cut bananas into pie shell. Pour mixture over bananas.
Top with meringue.
Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 until meringue is golden.
